ABOUT
The 4yo Tess van de Ravershoek knows how to jump a fence. She is careful and shows great reflexes and a nice bascule. Also interesting: she comes out of the same family as Don Juan van de Donkhoeve (Bamako de Muze), recently winner of the Longines GCT Grand Prix in London.
Sire Bamako de Muze is one of the best breeding Darco sons. He jumped 1.60m GP’s and, like the top-class sire Mylord Carthago, comes out of the celebrated mare Fragance de Chalus. Well-known Bamako sons in the sport are: Don Juan van de Donkhoeve (1.70m GP with Jessica Springsteen) and the stallion Kasanova de la Pomme (1.65m GP) with Koen Vereecke.
Dam Aphrodite van de Donkhoeve (Canaletto) gave two 1.40m level horses and is bred out of Ramona van de Gaver (Chin Chin), who performed at 1.40m level herself. Ramona turned out in a valuable broodmare. She gave the 1.60m GP horse Utopia van de Donkhoeve (dam of 1.60m GP horse Farao of Heritage) and is the grandam of the Grand Prix horses Don Juan van de Donkhoeve (1.70m), Sherlock (1.60m), Belona vd Wijnhoeve Z (1.60m) and Hamlet vd Donkhoeve (1.55m).
